FUNCTIONAL, MINDFUL MOVEMENTS

3 x 3 CIRCUIT TRAINING

It's well known that in order to feel good in our bodies, we need movement. It is also proven, over and over, that physical exercise promotes a long and healthy life. With busy lifestyles we need easy, efficient ways to keep us moving and to keep our workout routines sustainable. Here are some simple (yet butt kicking) exercises that is intended to do as a circuit training. With minimal equipment you can do these almost anywhere and because you are altering between different body parts, this means you are saving a lot of time. You can go at your own speed, meaning if you want to kick up the pace and get some cardio this is perfectly radical. REPEAT EVERYTHING 3 TIMES

Core: Circles under and over legs with 8pound ball or your weight of choice. Body weight is also great. Keep a flat back and relax your neck

Arms: Handstands for 1 minute. If you are not fully comfortable with handstands you can lean against a wall like I am doing here to help you balance

Legs: I use a medium soft band (they all have different resistance) Walk sideways 5 steps and repeat other way. Jumps can be done to your level. I'm doing 180 and 360 rotations. Remember to stick your but out when you "land"

The elemental outdoors

Is our inspiration in creating a holistic environment where our bodies can move in natural harmony. Nature is a playground for sensory stimulation. The smell of a forest, the sound of a flowing river, the challenge of an ever changing terrain illustrates a stark juxtaposition to the manicured monotony of urban living. What we gain from engaging in movement inspired by the outdoors cannot be replicated in a gym. Research has found that exercise in green areas encourages intrinsic motivation and infuses enjoyment. A representation of the divine, nature brings us into the PRSNT moment.
In order to stay inspired and engaged, we emphasize activities that promote diversity, play, and dynamic movement. We love to get lost in the #PRSNT moment and often look to children for inspiration. Naturally curious and spontaneous, children move with unadulterated freedom. With this mindset comes new inspiration, discoveries, and growth. When we are in the flow zone having fun, the existence of time dissolves and we excitedly tell the universe, "Tag, you´re it."
